About Us
We are a family run dance school, established in 2004. Our teachers are fully IDTA qualified with many years experience teaching dance technique. We are Passionate about performance and theatre, and recognise the joy and confidence it can create in children and adolescents. Our mission is to lay the foundations of dance to allow students to pursue their dancing dreams and make memories that will last a lifetime.

Join the World of Dance
Pre-School Dance
Ballet Babies allows children from 2 ½yrs to school age to discover the joy of dance and movement in a fun and musical way. The classes use basic ballet and dance skills along with storytelling and creative play to help build their strength, stability and gross motor skills, whilst also giving them confidence and enjoyment.
4-18yrs
From school age upwards children are able to enrol in the core subjects of Ballet, Tap, Contemporary Jazz and Theatre Dance along with the supporting subjects of Acrobatic Dance (including flexibility training) and Musical Theatre (Drama and Singing). IDTA Exams are taken in all core subjects, and all students are invited to perform in a yearly show.
Private Lessons
We offer Private Tuition, both one to one and in small groups, throughout the week. This can be for anything from competition prep and body conditioning to teacher training. Contact the school directly for availability. (Please note, current students at the school will take priority in timetabling)

How to find us:
Located on the first floor of Dewsbury Railway Station, accessible via a blue metal staircase on the right hand exterior of the building. There is a pay and display car park adjacent to the studio, or a small amount of free parking across the station foot bridge on Eightlands Road.
